Project overview

First Manhattan Co., a wealth management firm in NYC came to Sarankco, the agency I was working with, with a design to modernize their brand.

My role

The challenge

Streamline an outdated website by overhauling its information architecture and design system to enhance usability and modernize its appearance.

Design process

First we created the structure, information architecture, and wireframes.

I collaborated with a junior designer (my mentee) to develop three concepts based on the recently redesigned visual identity, which we then presented to the client.

Once a concept was selected, we incorporated revisions before creating a comprehensive design system and redesigning the site module by module and template by template across three breakpoints.

Finally, we handed the project off to the developer, providing detailed documentation of our design system and functional specifications for implementation and rollout.
