Hi! I’m Sam. I’m a multidisciplinary designer with a passion for crafting inspiring experiences for aspiring brands.
I’ve loved art and design for as long as I can remember. After spending the better part of my middle school and high school years on the early internet learning to code on MySpace, building websites on Neopets.com, and making my own AIM buddy icons I realized I was destined for a career in Digital Design.
I got my degree in Graphic Design from Boston University and moved out to my dream city, San Francisco, shortly after graduating. I started out as a more traditional Graphic Designer working in print, experiential, and brand design but I skewed more and more towards web and honed my craft in digital design as time went on.
I got my first taste of UI/UX Design while working as the Lead Web, Brand, and Marketing Designer for a product-based SaaS company called Stackla. I quickly fell in love with the discipline and decided to take a leap of faith and make a career shift to become a full-time Product Designer in 2018.
I’m currently working at an Ed-Tech Startup called HOMER Learning, based in NYC. I also run my own freelance business on the side, where I take on passion projects. When I’m not working, you can find me OM’ing in a hot vinyasa class, searching the city for the ultimate bowl of ramen, or brushing up on my painting skills.
